The Wańkowicz House: "Culture and Art of the First Half of the 19th Century Museum” is a branch of the National Art Museum of the Republic Of Belarus.

It was opened to the public in 2000. The opening was dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Walenty Wańkowicz, the most prominent Belarusian artist of the Romantic period, whose name is connected with the names of А. Mickiewicz, А. Pushkin, М. Szimanowska. Paintings by Walenty Wańkowicz are exhibited in museums of Lithuania, Poland, France and Russia. Portrait of Tomasz Zan is the only authentic work by the artist in Belarus. Today Today it is on displaty at the Wańkowicz House Museum.

The museum hosts thematic excursions – “Walenty Wańkowicz. The Artist's Path”, “Sarmatian Portrait”, “Gentry House Interiors” and interactive programs.
